Defective parts! A few years ago companies imported parts from countries that didnt speak very good english.I bought a tower case with power supply already in. My son, at that time knew more than i did about building a computer system.He put in the motherboard,cpu,memory,harddrive,cdrom drive.He hooked up the power to the motherboard according to the instructions provided by the company that built the tower case.He didnt know and neither did i that the instructions were wrong.He turned on the "new computer".There was a big flash of light,smoke and a big boom.It threw him across the room,burning his arm.I opened the door and told him that if he hurt my computer i would get him.After we both calmed down we took the computer system back.The guy who owned the place was from India i think.He said that the instructions sent with each tower was wrong.He said that there was no refunds.And he only had one more tower case and we couldnt have it.Well i got it!He was glad to see me go. The barebones computer systems i see being sold are light years away from what was sold 15 years ago.You can build a super computer system now and save a couple hundred bucks.if you shop wisely.
